MODERN SLAVERY POLICY AFFIRMATION 2025
Purpose
Stable is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all its business activities and supply chains. This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines our commitment to ethical practices and compliance.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, and any other parties working with or on behalf of Stable.
Policy Statement
We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are dedicated to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery does not occur within our business or supply chains.
Responsibilities
- Directors: Ensures policy compliance with legal and ethical obligations.
- Stable Leadership Team: Ensure team members understand and comply with this policy, and provide regular training.
- Employees: Must understand and comply with this policy, avoiding any activity that might lead to a breach.
Compliance
All employees are required to:
- Understand and adhere to this policy.
- Report any suspected breaches to their Team Lead or Chief People Officer immediately.
Supply Chains
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains by:
- Assessing potential risk areas.
- Auditing and monitoring suppliers for compliance.
- Requiring suppliers to confirm steps taken to prevent modern slavery.
This is an ongoing exercise.
Training and Awareness
We provide training to all employees to ensure understanding of modern slavery risks.
Reporting Concerns
Employees and external parties are encouraged to report concerns about any suspicion of modern slavery within our business or supply chains. All reports will be investigated, and appropriate action will be taken.
Monitoring and Review
We continuously monitor the effectiveness of our measures against modern slavery and review this policy annually to ensure its effectiveness and relevance.
Breaches out of Policy
Any employee who breaches this policy will face disciplinary action, which could result in dismissal. We may terminate relationships with other individuals and organisations working on our behalf if they breach this policy.
Approval
This statement has been approved and endorsed by the Directors of Stable and our Stable Leadership Team and is reviewed annually.
